Chapter 10 – National Key Performance Indicators and ACCHOs
This chapter describes ACCHO practices in relation to the national key performance indicators (nKPIs). The nKPIs are a set of mandatory indicators collected from primary health care organisations that receive Commonwealth goverment funding through the Indigenous Australian’s Health Program to provide services primarily to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
The content of this chapter was drawn from the PhD project Understanding the impact of the national key performance indicators on Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations undertaken by Summer May Finlay through CREATE.
