Associate Investigator, CREATE

School of Translational Health Science, University of Adelaide

Alexa is a Research Fellow within the Implementation Science team at the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI), University of Adelaide. Her research interests are global midwifery issues, and working with the Clinical Fellowship program. This assists health professionals to lead initiatives related to implementing evidence-based approaches to health care. Alexa has clinical midwifery experience in South Australia, New South Wales, Nepal and Somalia. She has also previously worked with Divisions of General Practice on immunisation issues in country South Australia. Alexa is involved in the CREATE Capacity Strengthening activities and in particular supporting health practitioners who are Evidence Implementation Fellows.
