The CREATE capacity strengthening program focused on building the capacity of individuals working within Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs). The program was designed to develop skills in the understanding and undertaking of research.
The CREATE capacity strengthening program offered:
- Research Master Classes (including Understanding Research and Undertaking Research) and an Evaluation Master Class to individuals working within the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation sector.
- CREATE Fellowships through the JBI Clinical Fellowship program which is a six-month workplace evidence-based implementation program. The CREATE Fellowships were offered to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples working within the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation sector.
- Seminars, including webinars, co-presented with the Aboriginal health sector.
- Scholarships and research support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Masters and PhD students conducting research that aligned to CREATE priorities.
